Sorry, I don't know a dispassionate way of explaining how the Germans decided to set up mechanized killing places because they did not like having blood and brains splattered all over themselves. You suggested that the Final Solution was a reaction to losing on the Eastern Front, I countered that they wanted to make killing Untermenschen more efficient. They, like you, preferred less direct contact with hysteria. Perfectly understandable.
