WLD,

What I find interesting is that some of the Neocons are foaming at the mouth to get the war on, precisely because they foresee that there will be world chaos.

It's certain that if the U.S. becomes bogged down in the Middle East that a lot of regional conflicts won't get the attention that they otherwise might.

Whereas during the Clinton era, the diplomatic idea was to send U.S. representatives to Islamabad and New Delhi to cool tensions, we now have the unseemly gambit of al Qaeda and Talib fighters being airlifted out of Kunduz with CIA assistance and ending up in Kashmir to stir up resentments. With the U.S. merchants of death heading to the Sub-continent capitals to profiteer off the tensions. Capitalism at its rawest.

The Bushies see war as a key profit center for their operations. They lust after the opportunities presented. World War III is a desirable business proposition to them.

Capitalism, unfettered, is a remarkable destructive force.
