<do you accept it as fact that that scenario is what is going to happen? Awfully nice of us to telegraph our strategy...hey, at least they have time to get out of baghdad> Preceding release of this story Dan Rather announced that they asked if the release of this story would compromise U.S. security and assist the enemy and were told no it would not and were, i presume, then given clearance to release the story. So this information could be intentional disinformation leaked by the Pentagon/CIA to the media, but that immediately leads the question is as to why do this, present such disinformation???? It was also included in the report the statement by an unnamed source the view that the "Shock and Awe" plan was just "Bull ----" but they set on doing it anyway. So it is my hope this is disinformation put out by U.S.Intelligence and this scenario would NEVER be used. Reason to think this story is disinformation is that when CBS asked directly the proper authorities on this matter they did not deny the story's validity but also said the release of this story would NOT assist the enemy, and that seems odd.
