Since the US ruthlessly took control of Kuwaiti oil in 1991 I can see your point!

Russia and France want it much more than we do. And they'll get it even if the US invades.

Problem is, GST, Russia and France get their Iraqi oil at much better profit margins if Saddam remains in power.

You need to look into this oil angle a little, and spare us the bumper-sticker sloganeering.
