I sense now that the entire damning evidence was known to only a few selected people, our CIA, Rumsfeld, Powell, Bush, and Blair. Perhaps a few others, some Generals, but small enough group to maintain secrecy.
The UN would be more trusting of information coming from a semi-independant position so it was submitted to them by Mr Blair. Probably not all that is known, but enough to convince the UN that there is a $urd in the stew
somewhere. ( There are more well known expressions but using this milder one may get me in less trouble with the Post Master). Perhaps would be OK to say there is something fishy in Denmark.
Probably have one or two aces left in the hole. A Texan never counts his money, until the dealins done..
