What about when the NYPD bumfucked a black with a baton? do you think they would treat a white man the same way?

NYPD didn't do it, some rogue cops did. My recollection is that there WERE legitimate civil rights issues involved in that case, although my memory is fuzzy on it and I don't want to look it up. There WERE NO such issues in the Rodney King incident.

The point that you've missed (as did the author of that that article) is that just because someone is black and beaten up or otherwise ends up being the victim of a white crime, that does not make it racially motivated.

A month ago in the small town I live in a 27-year old white girl was shot dead by a young black man. There was no evidence of racism. It was a murder. Should we call it a racist act because it was a black murdering a white, or does the term "racist" apply only to white on black crimes?

You and most liberals apply a double standard to these crimes. I think that is Pickering's point, and he is correct.

You and Pickering both seem to have a problem when it comes to racial issues. Fortunately, you are not being nominated for a federal judgeship. Unfortunately, Pickering is.
