A bit of time in the Military would clarify things. The first thing a recruit is taught from the time he first stands at attention (Teh Hut) is to keep his mouth closed . I had never in my previous life heard or been called by so many 4 letter words as laid on us by a war-experienced first- sergeant at that time we assembled. He was God, and told us so, very clearly. No letters to home, saying "Dear Folks, I am stationed at xxxxxxxxxx and have been told we are leaving xxxxxxxx on a xxxx on the xxxxx of xxxxxx for xxxxx the xxxxxxxxx theater. Which is the way it looks after the censor fixes it For 27 years after that, from 1941 to 1968, I never had a job that was not classified even in peacetime at Confidential or higher. Even Boeing Commercial Flight Test work was classified , implemented by purposely parking an AWACS aircraft on the field which gave the whole area a confidential status. This is wartime (against Terrorists) and perhaps against Iraq so secrecy and dis-information is to be expected. and the companies or people who are not supposed to talk about what they are doing have been informed . We ( civilians) seem to be getting far more information about this build-up than some in the Military may desire. But in this special case, we want Saddam to know how much power he is going to face, and that he will face it real soon so the weasly devil makes up his mind - to quit making WMD's , or perish. Sig .
