<And the President addresses the nation later today> Frank, I think the address is Tuesday evening.?? I am unsure if I think Sadaam will step down. He is a crafty one though. If it happens there will be some big headfakes and a quick $20-50.00 gold retreat. Hey at least part of that may be healthy for a continuing rally going forward. Tom

Frank we all have a level of comfort, and of course I am not a complete fool. I will do what I do everyday for 10-12 hr, monitoring and checking ,watching and reading. I have a huge cushion in some stocks, since I bought some quite early. The so called "war premium", is there, I agree, but after the dust settles, the USA and its $ and economie will still be in the doghouse, and Gold will continue to go up. I realized some time ago, and it has been discussed that TA does not always work with Gold. Remember the manipulation , the Gold carry trade, etc, now we have Sentiment , perception etc. I live and learn from reading, studying _and like helpful discussions, it is just when a theme is beaten to death, and folks trying to push there perception over and over again. I herewith apologize to Bert Sagara about my quite childish remarks to him and about him. Regards Eva

$369 breaks hello 146 and lower HUI Trimmed a little this morning at the opening....mainly GG over $13 which it seems incapable of holding....just a few percentage points off miner total net after the addition of some KGC...guess we don't go anywhere till later...if then I don't see Sadaam stepping down....A guy who has tortured people, gassed others and wants an atomic bomb to kill still more with ain't going quietly into retirement.....One doesn't get into a position of that type of ruthless power if give up would ever crosses your mind.
