Intel CEO Barrett Exercises Option To Buy 512,000 Shares

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Two Intel Corp. (NasdaqNM:INTC - News) executives, including Chief Executive Craig R. Barrett, acquired a net total of 602,000 shares of common stock last Thursday, according to Form 4s filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Barrett exercised options to buy 512,000 common shares Thursday. Barrett exercised the options at a price of $2.81 a share. After the transaction, Barrett directly owned 3,244,432 shares and indirectly held 3,012 shares.

The other buyer, David B. Yoffie, acquired a net total of 90,000 shares after exercising options to buy 160,000 common shares at prices ranging from $3.16 to $3.68 a share and selling 70,000 shares at a per-share price of $16.63 last Thursday. After the transaction, Yoffie directly held 96,400 shares.

Chip maker Intel is based in Santa Clara, Calif.

The company's shares recently traded at $15.89.
