Chris,

Re: The West did not kill these people !! Saddam's policy of not obeying the UN Resolutions killed these people !

You seem very weak on the facts. The sanctions regime was a direct effort at genocidal attacks on innocent civilians by the U.S. There can be no other conclusion once you learn what actually occurred in Iraq.

Here's a start:

"MOST AMERICANS DON'T REALIZE HOW HEINOUS OUR OWN GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN"

againstbombing.org

You will not be able to read this article and honestly conclude that Saddam Hussein is the worst villain with regard to the rising infant mortality rates and destruction of quality of life for average Iraqis. America is clearly guilty of crimes against humanity in this matter. Thus, we have an illegitimate poseur in the White House cavalierly dismissing the International Criminal Court because he doesn't want to face the music.

In response to being questioned about U.S. sanctions regimes destroying the lives of at least half a million Iraqi children and elders since 1991 due to the sanctions regime, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright did not dispute this fact. Instead, she stated that this was 'an acceptable price to pay' for U.S. foreign policy.

Saddam is not the evil here. The U.S. government is the evil.

Salaams, Ray
