What I am saying there is enough questionable history in his background that suggests he may not make a fair and equitable judge. What do you mean by that? Specifically what do you mean by that, that would have something to do with race but not make him a racist? His position towards racial measures is checkered at best. I don't think someone who's position wavers based on his biases will make a good judge. I am sorry you don't see it. However, its there for others to see. I am sorry that so many unfairly malign the reputation of people like Pickering when a fair look at his record shows nothing along the lines of what you suggest. That's the problem......it doesn't look like he was unfairly maligned from where I am sitting. ted
