Good piece of work Jim: The productivity question should be examined, glad you are going to address it. Yes, it was Greenspam's central theme throughout, upholding or trying to validate FED policies and market valuation. As I remember, he started this track right after his irrational exuberance speech (DOW 6000), as if he had made a mistake with that comment. He subsequently and immediately changed his tune; seemed to me like someone took him to the woodshed, and showed him the error of his ways. LOL. He should have stuck to it and saved everyone a lot of misery. No doubt, very poor leadership (to say the least). Good luck Phil
