I was watching Rummy's press conference when he made his "old Europe" remarks, and he had that puckish, droll expression he gets when he's saying something that amuses himself.

I don't expect that "old Europe" gets much respect in the White House behind closed doors.

"Old Europe" says that Israel is a shitty little country, and flys PLO flags, and says that Bush is a Nazi, and a cowboy, and a moron, and Blair is a poodle. No, I don't expect that impresses the Bush White House much.

Bush and Rummy probably don't use the words Eurotrash and Euroweenies, themselves, but I am sure the staff does.
