To believe that Saddam would not assist terrorists to harm the US in any way possible defies common sense. The objective is to ensure that no "state" is itself a supporter of terrorism.

Relative to Franklin's quote, it was in an entirely different context. Have you noticed any reduction in your "liberty" other than taking longer to get through airports?
