That said, I hope that 5 is just a teaser price, and that hopefully they will go up to around $25/ hr minimum shortly.

This guy was just an individual. The contract software development houses charge more, up to $20 or $25.

How does companies hiring engineering help from India for $5/ hr possibly prove your charges of racism. In fact, that proves the opposite, companies will hire any nationality if the price is right. Its economics, not racism which determine who the companies hire.


You were suggesting that AA was dumbing down our colleges, resulting in a shortage of qualified people........and that explained why work was being shipped to other countries like the Phillipines or India. I suggested that the work was being shipped to those countries because wages are cheaper. D. Ray affirmed that conclusion with his post.
