RE> So, why would one so very knowledgeable as you, a person who cares very little about investing in the diamond business, go out of his way to such a little used forum as this to grace us with your opinions? edwardjayepstein.com Epstein doesn't say a lot that I didn't know BUT he puts it better than I could, while that book is a few years old it's still valid , and it's an easy read, and it's now online. --- Perhaps you read it ? -- After finding it I did a search on SI for Diamonds and posted the link to several threads , I would think anyone who was thinking about diamonds should at least take the time to read something about the subject. -- Perhaps I'm just an old fool, but I did the about same thing 3 yrs ago regarding internut stocks, and a lot of people didn't like it. I guess they were to busy making plans to get rich fast, and a little common sense was to much for them to handle. -- I felt somewhat sorry for them in spite of their hard headed attitude. I Still do, but not as much as I use to. The short of it I just wanted to share some of my thoughts about diamonds, and Epstine made it easy, that is for them who are not in such a big hurry to get rich taht they can't take the time to read it. edwardjayepstein.com On top of that I didn't have a lot I needed to do at the time, my posting happens in spurts; depending on what else I have going on. Right now I'm on hold until tomorrow, so I have some spare time to irritate any body with an itch.
