Guys,

The stock prices of ASA and NEM were at $36 and $47, respectively, when POG was at ~$358-363/oz on 2/28/97.

Questions:
1. Will NEM run another 20% soon?

2. Rand has been down vs. Dollar for years until some recent recovery. How much impact on ASA when Rand goes up vs. Dollar?

3. The labor strikes at S. A. are still not over. Is this bullish or bearish to ASA for the long term (2-10 years)?

4. From the POG chart, it looks like the double bottom has been confirmed. Will we see $400 again within 1 year?

Any one care to share your thoughts?
Good luck guys. I am happy right now...at least for this moment.

Wade
