Unless they both break the neck lines (Nasdaq and QQQ) there exists a higher probability of a "whip saw".IMHO.
And I know about "whip saws"(ggg)

WLD, I agree that in my experience it has generally been the case that NDX leads COMP. BUT, keep in mind that they just "rebalanced" the NDX, (or whatever they call it when they shuffle stuff around to try to make the damn thing go up). Several people have commented that it has been acting just a tad differently since then, vis-a-vis SOX and BTK, so I'm not absolutely certain that the NDX->COMP rule is good right now. Probably, but there is just enough room for doubt in my little doggie mind.
