Can you please explain how I can't evaluate one person's background without knowing another person who from outward appearances is not related? If you don't understand the concept of "borking" a nominee how can you be expected to understand that a nominee has been "borked"? If you understood what happened to Bork, and to Tower, and to Thomas, perhaps then you would be able to see that what has happened to Pickering is simply more of the same. As it is, you seem to actually think the unfounded allegations of racism have something to do with Pickering. As I've said ten times on this subject, it is ALL POLITICS. There is no racism. Just as a final closing point, please answer: Why did these unfounded allegations of racism not come up in Pickering's earlier confirmation hearing?
