No, index options settle based on the opening of the third Friday. QQQ options, which are essentially the same as NDX options, are treated as equity options which settle on Saturday morning based on Friday closing. I know a lot of people use NDX and QQQ as equivalents. The exact details are at the CBOE site under the product section. Hope this helps.
