My name is AUGUST West,... Anyway, the song is "Quit kickin' my dawg around" by the New Christy Minstrels. The lead used to be sung by the bass player, Clarence Treet; this sounds like him. Don't know which album, but am guessing the first, since, I think, their second was the soundtrack from a flick; This Old Riverboat, etc. I just saw a reunion of the NCM, including Barry McGuire, on a PBS folk revival fund raiser.Hosted by the brothers Smothers. Pretty good show, if it comes on in your area. BTW, beautiful sunrise, all red and orange and magenta tinting the fog. Kerpal 2
