Hi Tuck,

I don't know how many shares the insiders originally held at the time of the IPO.

You are right, the FDA approved Essure on Nov.4, (the FDA's OB& Gyn Advisory Committee recommended approval for Essure,on July 22)The Yahoo page on CPTS from where I took that information is not up to date on that, since it states "intends to begin marketing Essure in the United States following FDA approval, which it expects to receive in 2003.".<g>

biz.yahoo.com

I am not sure if Essure is still waiting approval in Europe, but according to the company, it is currently ben marketed in Australia, Europe, Singapore and Canada.

At any rate, after making another 52wks. L yesterday at 6.87 CPTS is trying to hold above that level today.<g>

I am not too fond of short selling (I rather by puts, but am not fond of that any more at my age either.<g>), but if I found some that look like good prospects will let you know.<g>
