On a different note-- 11:19 ET Power technology stocks show relative strength : PLUG +12.3% and HYGS +6.5% have both notched up solid gains this morning, likely due to a pre-open note from Salomon Smith Barney; firm said possible trading catalysts in the coming weeks could lift Power Tech names such as PLUG and HYGS, including tonight's State of the Union address, the Feb 4 release of the budget, and a revival of the National Energy Policy debate. Although not mentioned in the note, BLDP +6.9%, ACPW 14.1%, HPOW 15.2%, SATC 12.0%, MKTY +5.7%, and FCEL +7.2% are also outperforming.
