Has anything changed since then? Same thing happened to CFR as the Telecommunications Deregulation Act: Congress passed it to take the pressure off, then buried it in committee. In the case of the TDA, the FCC, and in the case of the CFR, the FEC, the federal Election Committee. These guys in Washington think they can say what ever keeps the people happy, then do what ever they please. The world does not exist beyond the Beltway. And they're RIGHT. It is this slow realization that has slowly entered into the thoughts of the populace and it is one very important reason why the entire market is down. I was hoping the Internet would put a stop to this but it doesn't seem to be happening fast enough.
