silver corrodes (tarnishes)..therefor it is not a suitable replacement for what its intended for in the elec. industry.

but if you indeed feel gold is worth $50 an oz along with all the great guru's that over the last 3 years have said gold is going to $200 i invite you to short it...i'm on record that the absolute floor on gold is $250 an oz and unless some new mining technology is developed or some new huge deposit is discovered that gold will not ever breach $250.
