Do you remember when Pete Wilson entered office with a huge surplus and immediately gave it away? People are so clueless. I guess they never heard of keeping some dry powder in reserve. I can hardly wait to retire and spend all those T-bills backing my SS!! Not.

My states budget deficit is $35 billion, caused by a Dem governor who has been bought by the teacher's union and trial lawyers and who, in the face of falling state revenues starting in 2000, INCREASED state expenditures and employment.

Oh, AND who, in order to ensure his re-election, used the multi-tens of billions of surplus accumulated in the state treasury over decades to buy electricity and natural gas at peak prices and retail them to consumers (voters) at a fraction of market rates.

And who expected the Clinton boom years to roll on forever, even when it was clear to everyone else they were over.

If there were a Nobel Prize for Stupidity, he'd be a shoe in.
