We have used the ME like a giant gas station, oblivious to the fact that people live there. We dispised dictators, unless they were our dictators. So, 60 years later, we have a mess. Time to clean up. I thought the strongest criticism of Americans was their inability to see that some problems have only long term solutions, mayhap not even solutions we would recognize as solutions. That we were all, there's a problem, solve it, let's go on to another problem. And, sometimes leaving a worse mess. I did not know that was a Canadian characteristic as well.
