Jurgis Bekepuris: Yes, I've got one like that too. DOV. I can't justify it clearly as a value stock. But historically, the company has performed well, and the stock has been good to its owners.

In trying to upgrade my portfolio to "strong" "GAARP-like" companies, this is one I am considering.

It would seem that if there are stocks which a person just "wants to own", there are many of them, imo, that are down in price and maybe low enough that they could be bought now (or starter positions begun), esp. if one's holding period is "mid term" or longer.
