Hey, I never said that the value that gold has as money wasn't legitimate. If we humans choose to assign gold a value as a store of wealth, then it is worth just as much as we humans are willing to pay for it.

Anybody who has followed this thread (and sister threads) over the years, knows that I have been a buyer of gold for a long time.

gold has been the longest running medium of exchange

gold will remain an important element of global monetary reserves

having said that doesn't mean it isn't over valued right now
