I guess by that reasoning, we can attack them 50 yrs hence -- when are we ever done?? Can we go attack any other country that we have had an armed conflict with ?

I think the mistake was working through the UN in the first place. It's just supposedly "moral cover" for doing what we already want to do.

Do we have the right to tell other countries what arms and munitions they may have except by mutual agreement and how good have we been at keeping such mutual agreements?
