prudence -- now there's an idea.

The media tell us that there is wide popular support for the use of military action -- for the sake of argument, let's say that is true. But why do people support attacking a country that is not currently attacking anyone else? what's the real reason?

Does the man in the street really view Sadam as a threat to their own lives?? Or are they simply hopeful that war will be fiscally stimulative and that oil prices will come down??

This is a puzzle for me -- have you seen any articles that analyze popular support and why it is there??

Right after 9/11 I was posting the huge short positions
in the airlines..there was some news coverage but it didn't
go any where. I personally saw & posted the actual positions before they were closed..I can only assume the finger pointed at persons they didn't want to bust.
Because nothing was done.

We had a window and moral ground to kick ass, but
that was all lost in the dilly dally around while
the money boys got their ducks in a row , and
Bush went to thumping on the stump ( doing nothing but exploiting it for all it was worth )..
This whole mess is one big joke , one that's not very
funny.

And BTW the Washington Post ran a Feature 11/23
about how the FBI/CIA knew before hand that the
Terrorist were in our flight schools.

( not Bush jr, I think they kept him in the dark )
A big problem is he don't even consider taht he might
be just a minion.
