re: LOR
Their debt is twice their annual sales, partially due to them selling satellites to companies that borrowed money to buy those satellites. These customers borrowed from syndicated credit facilities that LOR agreed to be a guarantor for, and subsequently defaulted/declared BK. Globalstar was one such company with $500MM in debt. LOR purchased their $500MM debt from lenders, which was rolled into their own credit facility.

Sirius Satellite Radio is another customer that hasn't declared BK yet, but was considering it. I think they have around $700MM in debt, with LOR as guarantor for most of it. Fortunately for LOR, SIRI just announced it will offer to exchange all outstanding debt for stock.
