Here we're content to take potshots at state governments suffering catastrophic budget shortfalls because of failed national policies in a classic "shoot the messenger" mode. It's quite funny really. Or we'll yammer on endlessly about how good the chaos that Bush is creating will be for the price of gold. As if the chaos were simply a normal feature of life and a typical market hazard. There is a very distinct air of unreality to this haven of the morally aloof. And let's not get started on "unanswered questions". Just too many of these pesky things lying around, like clues in a Sherlock Holmes novel. unansweredquestions.org
