Come to think of it, the fact that the LAPD did nothing is probably encouraging more perps to go and beat up other motorists under the guise of "venting steam." Similar problems within the LAPD helped to turn that city into the murder capital of 2002. How does the quote go? Something like "Evil spreads best when good people do nothing"? You are so very right.......for two years after the riots, LA was the murder capital of the country and every night, no matter where you lived, you heard gunshots when you went to bed. The police were unwilling to stop people of color even for traffic violations........it was a nightmare. ted
