I start Sunday cutting down invading woody vegetation that threaten the prairie and savanna organisms; this includes removing non-native invading species and reducing aggressive native species that can later be controlled by reintroducing fire, the ecological process that originally kept such vegetation in check in pre-settlement times; we may also do some spreading of native plant seeds. I'll need to visit you in Florida after that.
