Even were you to assume the worst, that Bush did not show in Alabama (I do not assume that, and it is not proven), the truth is that the fighter on which he trained was being phased out, so his service was effectively over, and it was just a question of finishing his points to obtain his discharge. Clinton, in fact, lied about joining ROTC in order to evade his draft board.......
