gg cox – Buy Out or Dividends….or bust? I will be here to for the buyout/dividends, but sooner than later I’ve got to sell off half my holdings. I may sell some to participate in gold after the upcoming sell-off. Lets see how that shakes out.

Do you know Dodger 119 on Stockhouse? He’s made some good comments, that I will repeat here:

- “The most effective, quickest, and cheapest way to create shareholder value, is to prove what most of us believe, and that is that the Messina resource is indeed about 50mil oz.+. If they're going to drill anywhere, it should be here first. Even the most jaded will have difficulty reconciling our current stock price with 1 oz.pgm per share.”

-“Your assumption [It will take SUF about 20 - 25 years to mine the Messina resource to 1,000 metres. As the market will not attribute any value to resources beyond the 20 year time frame, money spent on drilling up the resource to 2,000 metres would be wasted.] is based on SUF mining it. A real miner will do it substantially quicker and their interest will indeed be based on the proven resource .i.e. Barrick, Placer, Tinto, BHP etc. A resource of this size will certainly be attractive, especially since some of the major gold producers are looking for pgm assets in order to diversify. They need a long life asset capable of producing 500,000+oz/yr

- Absolutely true [Wouldn't be a waste if you want a better price on a take out] and i'm sure that is what Fidelity is counting on---practically speaking, almost the only way to unload a large minority interest of 7mil shares.

It seams to me that Dodger is “in the game” so to speak.

Short term, here is what I see: finance.yahoo.com
I don’t think we will breach 7.25 soon. I have a stop loss in place below that. SUF is getting good press and interest that should keep all the people new to this play nibbling away to get their positions. If you step back stockcharts.com[h,a]waclyyay[pb50!b200!f][vc60][iLa12,26,9!Ll14]&pref=G it looks primed to sail through 7.40. If I could get a graph with a linear price scale, you can show the channel we are in, and the top channel is roughly $9.00. That’s were some of my stock becomes available! Thats my armchair analyst view, FWIW.

Take care all.

BTW I have another Bmo gold & oil report that touches on SUF compared to the golds, and some of the diamond plays. PM if interested.
