Al, while I don't wish to challenge anyone's view on the meaning or significance of apparent "spiritual happenings", I believe there must be an explanation for them which as yet we don't have.

In the circumstances, since people can easily believe we are communicating with the "other" world via these "spiritual" events, they clearly substantiate mystical and religious belief in heaven, after-life, re-incarnation, what-have-you when, in fact, the true explanation may be far simpler and quite different.

Anyway, the phenomenon is interesting and, indeed, fascinating if not actually amazing. It is also interesting that there are quite a few people who are capable of receiving "spiritual" messages from dead people and relaying them to next-of-kin and others, even on TV. I am completely flabbergasted because I don't think it's a hoax but I can't understand what is happening.
