No, I don't typically buy puts, but the rise in the market on Thursday seemed like an opportunity I couldn't resist (given impending war and lousy earnings forecasts). I had intended to buy fewer, but kept buying as the price dropped from 2.25 to 2.05 in lots of 50 contracts. The plan was to dump the more expensive ones at cost ASAP but the big drop Friday convinced me to stay in.....at least until today. I was hoping to wait until I got 3.15 or so, but I'm a light sleeper. Much credit goes to the turnips.

Erratum: It was actually Thursday that I bought the puts.
