As for the the concern that profits allegedly come from and are dependent on "free merchandise" for new HD stores -- that person's argument sounds inane to me.

I've been adding to my HD position based on its growth rate and its market dominance.

It seems to me that it's rare that one can find behemoths at five year lows yet where analysts still expect earnings increases. And the p/e seems reasonable to me.

OTOH, my ROE model says I shouldn't be paying over $17 per share for the stock (assuming a 16% ROE going forward).

So far I have been wrong to be buying and adding. We'll see what the next 12 months bring.

Agree about PFE, a solid opportunity.

No opinion on others, except I don't like MOT's exposure to handsets.
