Proof, of course, that hydrogen is truly a DUMB idea is that it takes a government expenditure for "development", even at $33 oil. The goddam engine rusts out overnight, and hydrogen is what, BTW, burned the Hindenburg. Hydrogen will go the way of all those funny non-flying airplanes at the turn of the 20th Century. Remember "gasohol"? We will be propelling ourselves with fossile fuels for the next 500 years, but it will come from colonies, rather than the failed "nations" of the third world. Same oil fields-but with full-humans back in charge...
