KLP,

Something for those who are truly unsure (I don't think Bush could ever get Scott or John with this type of speech but those who are still open). "For those who remain concerned about war, it is good to be cautious about war, let me re-assure you that the evidence to be demonstrated next week proof conclusively that Saddam Hussein is a very real threat to the American way of life. I have a heavy heart as we prepare for war but I know my conscience is clear and yours should be as well. We have no choice."

Something that spoke to the undecided. He spoke passionately to the convinced.

All else is good, unlike most I thought the first half was brilliant. Give he hydroden research over Kyoto any day. Gosh, how about doing something that might actually work!

If all goes well at the UNSC and the first few days of war knock most of the army out of the game and Saddam doesn't torch his oil wells or drop kick Tel Aviv back to the middle ages with the plague, he will be fine.

Paranoia is a cultural virus, it spreads quickly, and the paranoia level in the US is very high right now.

I am alone in my critique - the blog-o-sphere is cracking a bud and slapping each other on the back. I am going to bed more uneasy than I have been all year. Life has taught me not to ignore my spidey sense and it is screaming right now.

Paul
