Never forget the truest and most prophetic piece of wisdom ever uttered IMHO PT Barnum said it many years ago. "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people." If people were dumb enough to believe all the new era nonsense a few years ago, why should they be smart enough to see through the Bushie BS today? I am not talking about all the people obviously. But many many can be fooled again, and again, and again.

Re baffling US public support... I'm a bit of an optimist here, but I think those guys are slowly getting out of touch with the American public. I caught a story on CNBC just B4 I went to work yesterday, thereby missing the garage band at my place, which was actually in the barn, cuz I don't have a garage, but I digress... The story was about 33 companies which just filed a friend of the court brief in support of the U of Mich Affirmative Action program; the one that the Bushies filed a brief against. They included GM, TRW, Microsoft, all of whom felt the need for a diverse and well educated work force. A similar brief will also be filed with the Supreme Court, and an additional " few dozen" companies are supposed to sign on to this. I'm not used to seeing such a divergence between a Republican Admin and Big Business. I hope this really has some significance. Rat
