I thought he looked terrific, and delivered the speech very well. This thought kept running through my mind: the most powerful nation on earth and this is the best we can do? I can think of several posters on FADG who would probably do a better job.

Bill, Bush made a terrific speech last night. Of course as always results will determine how history will look at it but if saddam backs down or we win the war without too much death and destruction, this speech will be quoted in the future much like FDRs Day of infamy speech. Next step now is for Powell to produce some meat on the bones so the rest of the world can get in line. mike PS I found Shilos note hysterical. Which thread member should be President in shilos world?
