I nearly fell out of my chair this morning. I was listening to Chris Matthews talking to Don Imus, and Imus told him that Mrs. Imus thought Matthews and Kennedy were going to go out and pick furniture after that lovefest interview last night. Then Matthews was trying to explain to Imus why no Democrat Senator wanted to give the rebuttal, and Matthews said "what would they say", Lieberman would be up there amen-ing the president, Kennedy would say maybe, Rangel would say he was all wet.....Imus THEN interrupted Matthews and said, "I bet Kennedy would not say he was all wet"....... that was great....
