The Congressional Budget Office on Wednesday projected deficits of $199 billion this year and $145 billion in 2004, worsening the government's fiscal outlook anew and further enflaming this year's budget battle between President Bush and Democrats.

This is total BS and sugarcoating. They bake in assumptions about the economy that seldom if ever materialize and they don't bake in the cost of the war and the cost of all the other things this guy wants to do, while lowering taxes.

Al, I know......its the game they play. To me its the height of irony, the very thing that conservatives are suppose to be best at.....conserving money, they are turning into a disaster.

The rubber band keeps getting stretched more and more......wait for the big twang.......that's when all hell will break lose.

I wonder if people got sucked back in last nite with his S of the U last nite.......it will be interesting to see what the polls say; you know those survey things the GOP never ever, never ever looks at. <g>
