"Some at the top of the Army see Rumsfeld and those around him as overly enamored of air power and high technology and insufficiently attentive to the brutal difficulties of ground combat. Schwarzkopf's comments reflect Pentagon scuttlebutt that Rumsfeld and his aides have brushed aside some of the Army's concerns."

After Rummy made the comment that Vietnam War veterans were of no value to the military,
it is clear Rummy doesn't have any training in ground combat.

I think Schwarzkopf's comments were
right when he said Rummy enjoyed the tv conferences during the Afghanistan war.
Like Bush, Rummy enjoys the attention. If he has to kill people to get huge tv audiences,
he and Bush will do it!

TP,

Herr Von Rummy was featured on C-SPAN this afternoon doing one of his briefings. I can hardly express my anger at the situation. He was up on the podium, cracking wise, teasing the reporters, being totally flippant and flipping the world the bird.

He can't stop himself from smirking and disrespecting the Europeans, the military brass, the press or the public.
And this bastard is about to murder 100,000 innocents with a smile on his face. Unbelievable. We are a nation gone mad.

The factory that exploded in North Carolina was cited for safety violations. Bush has relaxed
safety laws in the work place and Bush and Gail Norton, the Environment Secretary, believe
businesses should regulate safety in the workplace.

How many Americans feel safe now when they go to work?

Bush forces us to fret about Iraq. Maybe, we should worry about problems in the US.
There are many.
