<<Yes, carl, Intel shareholders paid for this bonus to Otellini.>>
Thanks for verifying that the shareholders paid the $12,155,000 salary bonus from the Intel share holders earnings.

The list goes on (and this will only be a very short list, of the long list of transgressions that the Intel Officers and Board Members are guilty of):

In a similar fashion as described in message #172677, Barrett picked up in Jan 2002 $14,299.280 of added salary bonus paid for by Intel share holder earnings.

Our very ethical lawyer, Thomas F. Dunlap, pocketed a pay package of $10,733,567 also paid for by buying back shares of Intel using the share holders earnings. This took place in Jan 2002.

Intel director Jane E. Shaw, pocketed for serving on the board as a director, on sales of 424,000 shares in Jan 2001 in excess of $10,000,000. Not bad for a Directors job! This service to Intel has also been paid for by re-buying the shares from Intel share holders earnings.

Director Rock Arthur's list is long; but options @ $5 per share?

Executive Vice President Andy Bryant picked up $3,325,392 in extra salary in Jan 2001. Option shares have been paid for by re-buying the shares from Intel share holder earnings.

Director David B. Yoffie pocketed a mere $2,591,200 in Jan 2003 as pay for being a director. Intel share holders have re-purchased the shares using Intel share holder earnings.

Director David S. Pottruck, President of Charles Schwab Corp., proceeded to sell in the beginning of 2002 most of the 300,000 share option granted at $1.60 per share. The shares have been re-purchased by Intel for a cost of about $5,000,000, the amount all coming from Intel share holder earnings.

The list goes on: Somebody please include the ones that I left out. Is Grove clean?

Summary: The foxes that are guarding the Intel stock holders earnings are blatantly stealing the money for themselves.

Many people are sitting in jail, having done much smaller crimes than these people are guilty of...humble carl

RE:"Tell me, when you receive your annual proxy statement, do you read it? It lists the option packages for each executive, as well as the members of the Board who are on the compensation committee"

I read it and have voted against all that crap for years.
(I do it will all other companies, too)
"Fortunately" I don't have enough shares to make a difference, I guess.

I love these posts from Intel employees about how so and so has owned these shares for yearrs... blah blah blah...

Do they really think that flies with the bagholding shareholder who paid for their shares and is now underwater?
Oh Yeah!!!!
Sure...
