Thats a good response. Like carranza i would go to pollack for rebuttal. Where i would caution you is the personal nature of your attacks on bush. Your guys may be right, my guys may be right but to demonize the opponent is not necessary. I know. I know. I have to be careful too. mike

Scott,

The problem with the statement, "inspections might be working so let's keep going", is that the reason for any co-operation is that the US has 150,000 troops and a small armada of ships aimed at him right now AND the president of the US is making it clear that he is willing to use those assets. You can't keep that level of pressure up for a year. It is the very behavior from Bush that you mistrust that has Saddam co-operating at all. Do you believe that Saddam would co-operate if Bush backed off the rhetoric and brought home the troops?
