I had 10 RMBS puts once back in the glory days and they were set to expire. Anyhow remember how that thing flew about from day to day? I had the 100's and we were at like 90. So I call Ameritrade as I was going to be gone on the day they expired and the gal told me they would just be settled for cash on the close. I was naive and said well that is cool cause I bought puts because that was way too scary for me to actually be short RMBS. So the following week I enter and order to short something and it kicks back that I don't have enough margin and I'm thinking like WTF so I go to my holdings to find that I have a 1000 share short position in RMBS. Damn near had a heart attack even though it was trading at like 75 by this point. Couldnt hit the cover button fast enough.

Even though that turned out alright just seeing or hearing anything about RMBS causes my hives to break out again:)
